A Modest Reversal (Stop Bleeding on Me)

You know I'm gettin' kind of fed up with the whinin' sound,
Comin' from the grimier life that inhabits this town,
Botherin' those of us who’re livin’ proper and good,
And who keep this culture movin' as it should,
It's a hard life? Yeah, well maybe it wouldn't be so hard,    Why don't they sell that car and TV?
They'd meet with much less disgrace,
If they'd just realize their place,
And not try to be livin' so much like me.

So stop bleedin' on me and go get your own dreams,
'Cause I'm gettin' sick and tired of your screams,
Stop feedin' on me, I got my own problems too,
And what can one man do, stop bleedin' on me.

The order we live in is fragile at best,
It will easily, easily give way when pressed,
There's no tellin' what can happen when things start to go,
And if you'd have gone to a better school you'd know,
It's a hard life, such an anxious life,
Livin' up to society's decrees,
But it's far better for you, all these pains I'm put through,
Otherwise sooner or later we'd all be back in the trees.

So stop bleedin' on me and go get your own dreams...
It's a hard life? Aw, well, you break my heart,
Hey, I've seen this situation before,
It is a well known fact, you people breed just like rats,
And for ev'ry one of you we help now there'll soon be twenty more.
